A comfort meal I’ve learned to make for myself, but it is always a treat to eat it back in Hong Kong. The restaurant my brother and I go back to is a no-nonsense place where you might be seated with others, your order, you eat, you pay, you get out. In the panic of feeling rushed and being outed as not as fluent in Cantonese as we should be, we ordered the wrong type of noodles the last time we were there.
