Hi! I’m Rebecca Hsieh, pronounced 'shay' or 'xie', I am fiber artist on Aakwaan Aani - Juneau, Alaska.
I’m constantly inspired by the environment, plants, social justice, food, and cute things.
Beyond the studio, you might find me walking my dog walk, teaching an art class, or hanging around on my aerial silks.

I picked up a matching beanie and a snood for both me and my dog, some headbands, and a few crocheted plushies (baby yoda! a bao!).

What Brings Me Joy
Honestly one of my favorite moments is putting little faces onto crocheted foods and then all of a sudden they’re 100x cuter. That joy carries through each piece I make.
